Progressive Program Kiddie Care’s Montessori - 4-5 Year Olds

Kiddie Care offers the Montessori Method of education, for ages 2-6. This method of learning is a child-centered educational approach & has been proven successful throughout the world. Children are naturally eager for knowledge and capable of initiating learning. Montessori method touches on all areas of a child’s development—physical, social, emotional, cognitive.

What is our Progressive Program. Our Progressive Program brings out the maximum ability of each child. All of our Montessori Teachers come together each day from 12:45-2:45 and teach this accelerated program together! On Fridays we also have Miss Karolina, one of our two-year-old Montessori teachers, come in to teach Spanish!

What will my child learn in Progressive?

We focus on the individual child to stimulate interest, build attention and focus on the development of the child. We concentrate on Language, Math and Writing. We also have at least three curriculum development projects. (I.e. China, North America, Women’s History Month).

What is the goal of this program?

Our goal is to instill love of learning that will take them through their whole school career, while making it fun! We strive to sustain and create an atmosphere of love, peace and encouragement throughout the learning process.

Does my child need additional supplies for Progressive?

Yes, a few extra supplies will be needed in addition to the supply list you received from your child’s morning class. The children are provided with specifically designed materials which help them to explore and develop essential cognitive skills.
